Created in 1996, the association (law of 1901) whose head office is in Roubaix arrived in MADAGASCAR,

This N.G.O takes a good on :

The building of a first primary school at ANIRIBE, Northern Mananara, in 1998,

The dispatching of 40 bicycles for the inhabitants of this same village thanks to the kindly contest of the association of “Tours de France” and the maritime transport DELMAS,

The donation of sport jersey, shorts and football witch allow to the mixt team of the village young people to practice sport.

The school of Northern Mananara was officially inaugurated by the regional authority of Toamasina.

Our intervening pole went on by the building of rural school at AMBODIHASINA in the sub-prefecture of Fenerive-Est. This enclaved area, situated in the tens kilometres of the national road 5, is distinguished by the presence of several idle and schoolless children.

In October 2004, the chief of the region of Analanjirofo accompanied by numerous authorities and the president of the association “The Traveller’s Tree” officially delivered the key of the school to Mrs Valerie RAHARINIRINA, the president of the fokontany of AMBODIHASINA.

The association gave its urgence contribution by paying 22.500.000Fmg to some families victim of fire, happening at AMBODIHASINA on the 06th of January 2005, which destroyed 125 houses and a great deal of the cloves plantation.

Beyond social actions, economic volets is not behindhand, there are some outstanding projects in order to make the village autonomous and avoid assistance.

In Madagascar, “The Traveller’s Tree” is relayed to the association of Malagasy laws “Brotherhood for Children” which appeals for the law n°60-133 of 3rd October 1960.
